Marina

The Glovertown Marina started on October 15, 2010.

This phase consists of dredging, concrete boat launch, hydraulic lift, breakwater, floating docks, laydown area and electrical.

Funding sources are: Provincial Government, Department of Innovation Trade and Rural Development – $182,619.00;
Provincial Government Community Enhancement Employment Program – $65,022.00; Provincial Government Job Creation Program – $170,234.00; Federal Government ACOA – $142,259.00 HST Rebate – $31,816.00; Glovertown Yacht Club Inc., – $87,162.00; Town of Glovertown – $64,000.00

Total this phase – $743,112.00

Future phases will include clubhouse with washrooms, telephone and internet; laundry facilities and a repair shop.
