Fall clean-up 2019
NO ITEMS ARE TO PUT ON THE CURB AFTER October 28. Pickup will begin on the 29th.
Once truck has been to your street and has picked up items it will not return.
Citizens are asked to co-operate by placing items on the road shoulder where it is easily accessible to collectors. All similar items to be sorted in separate piles., i.e. glass, metal, appliances, furniture, etc., All small misc. items must be put in household garbage bags (clear bags only). Maximum weight of garbage bag 20-25 lbs.
No items are to be put out in cardboard boxes. All cardboard must be broken down and tied up. The following items will NOT be picked up:
*car wrecks or tires and rims
* construction or demolition materials
* wood, concrete, rocks or bricks
* oils and other hazardous material
Residential garbage Collection will continue as per the regular schedule. Please have your clean up items separated from your normal residential garbage.
Please also post that Hazardous Waste Day will be Saturday October 26th from 10-2 on Station Road (near Lion's Club).
We encourage all residents to take this opportunity and clean up their property.
