The Town of Glovertown continues to take measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.


Effective 9am Wednesday, March 18, public access to the Town Hall will be suspended until further notice. 


Our employees will report to the office and are available by phone or email. If you require services from the Town Hall, please call 533-2351 between the hours of 9-5. After hours public works emergencies please call 424-1706. There will be no disruption to our public works department, including snow clearing. 


All tax & fee payments can be arranged by calling 533-2351. The follow payment options are available: Call with Credit Card (VISA/MasterCard), Mail cheque or money order to office, or use online banking (call office for details)


All Council meetings will be suspended until further notice. In addition, all Town owned facilities will be closed and not available for public gatherings including the Arena, Recreation Building, Diamond House and Fire Hall (upstairs). 


As you all know, this has been a fast evolving issue with a wide range of considerations. We will continue to rely on information from the province’s Chief Medical Officer and both levels of Government. Updates will be provided via the Town’s website and Facebook page as changes occur. 


We appreciate your understanding in this matter and implore you to continue following all health and safety guidelines around containment, prevention and isolation. Through our diligence and care we can minimize the impact of this pandemic. Be safe.
