CNWM Glovertown Waste Facility

The Central Newfoundland Waste Management site in Glovertown is located on the Trans Canada Highway approximately 1 km west of the Terra Nova National Park exit.

Schedule

This site is open for public use on the following schedule:

Sunday & Monday - CLOSED

Tuesday - Friday - 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (closed 12-1 PM for lunch)

Saturday - 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Fees

Wet/Dry waste - $117.00 / tonne

Construction & Demolition (C&D)/Bulk Materials

C&D unsorted - $117.00 / tonne

C&D Sorted - $10.00 / tonne - concrete, shingles, metals, paper, cardboard, wood products

Minimum fee $10.00 per visit, excluding free items:

Car wrecks (tires, oil, fluids removed; oil tank clean split and purged) - FREE

Clean soil/gravel - FREE

Milled asphalt - FREE

Hazardous Household Waste (HHW) - Fridge/deepfreze with Freon, etc. - FREE

Residential HHW will be accepted at the site. Examples of residential HGW include:

• Batteries (auto & household)
• Cleaners
• Fertilizers
• Fire extinguishers
• Paint & paint products
• Pesticides & herbicides
• Propoane Tanks
