Recreation
Glovertown truly is a paradise for recreation enthusiasts. The community stays active year-round in a number of different ways. The community offers everything from low-impact activities on trails in Glovertown and in Terra Nova National Park to the challenges presented by kayaking the Terra Nova River. Winter is a busy time at our local arena for hockey fans, figure skaters and curlers. The recreation grounds is an access point for the t'railway, an all-season trail that is highly popular in winter.
Recreation is very important to the community, and the Town regularly develops the Recreation Grounds. A number of modern recreation facilities can be found in one centralized location. Ken Diamond Memorial Park, Glovertown Gardens, Glovertown Softball Field, Playground, Multi-purpose Court, Community Gardens and soon to be new Dog Park, which are maintained and operated by the Town of Glovertown.
