Recreation

Glovertown truly is a paradise for recreation enthusiasts. The community stays active year-round in a number of different ways. The community offers everything from low-impact activities on trails in Glovertown and in Terra Nova National Park to the challenges presented by kayaking the Terra Nova River. Winter is a busy time at our local arena for hockey fans, figure skaters and curlers. The recreation grounds is an access point for the t'railway, an all-season trail that is highly popular in winter.

Recreation is very important to the community, and the Town regularly develops the Recreation Grounds. A number of modern recreation facilities can be found in one centralized location. Ken Diamond Memorial Park, Glovertown Gardens, Glovertown Softball Field, and the new Glovertown Playground are maintained and operated by the Town of Glovertown.
